Rents start at $785 per bedroom per month and includes:
Tenant parking may be available at the time of lease signing for $25 per month.
Yes, utilities up to a reasonable limit of $250.00 per unit per month are included.
Outdoor bike racks are available for tenant use all year round. Storage for any other items, such as canoes or kayaks, is not available.
Any student who does not have a sustainable income while in school will require a guarantor able to pay rent if the student is unable to do so.
We cannot guarantee successful housemate selection; however, Canoe Lofts offers a Housemate Questionnaire which can be used along with any other information you wish to share with us, to find the best match based on individual traits and living preferences.
Please note: Once a lease is signed, each tenant is responsible for fulfilling the term of the lease, unless a tenant can find an alternative solution agreed upon by all parties involved.
Yes, it may be possible as Algonquin College offers multiple courses which begin at different times of the year. We'll work with each tenant and individual situation as it arises.
Canoe Lofts provides independent, respectful student housing in Pembroke, Ontario. Similar to other adult communal living situations, site supervision includes: security cameras with backed up video storage, property management, and community policing services for incidents and/or noise complaints.
Canoe Lofts will NOT be suitable for you. We provide living arrangements for students interested in a safe, quiet, and respectful environment. Noise bylaws will be enforced to ensure the quiet enjoyment of all residents. Please note: Alcohol is NOT permitted outside of individual units.
